Sara Kauss Photography’s concentration is in wedding photography, musician and concert photography, and lifestyle portraits. As seasoned photojournalists with more than two decades of combined experience, our skills and style of shooting seamlessly transition to any avenue of photography, including corporate photographs, styled shoots, non profit events, international documentaries, and more.
Our studio founder, Sara Kauss, is an international photographer known for her photojournalistic style and colorful, dynamic photos, all captured with a spontaneous, energetic, personality. Sara established her photography studio over 10 years ago in sunny Jupiter, Florida, and has been expanding ever since. Her sincere kindness and stunning images earned the company an outstanding reputation from Florida to Nashville and beyond. Each member of our team shares the same passion, enthusiasm, and candid style, allowing us to constantly create impactful and dynamic images.

Hello! I’m Sara Kauss, and I’m passionate about people! Building relationships, making new friends, and capturing life through my camera lens is where my heart is. I want my photos to reflect you and who you are, in a super creative and sunlit way! Sunshine is my world, figuratively and literally (see @sunshinethegoldenpup for a deeper understanding of the “literal” sense 😉
There is a very strong chance that when you see me I will have my pink bedazzled Canon camera in hand! I look at the world in a different way than most. I am constantly envisioning the perfect angle with amazing light, whether sunlit or lamplit, that will truly describe that split second in a single frame, and freeze it in time forever. I want my images to tell a story, and create the feeling you were right there in that moment. Whether it be an emotional look between a bride and groom, an artist rocking out on stage, or a musician in their element posing for that descriptive album cover shot, creativity is forefront to every single moment captured. It is my job, and honor, to make sure my clients can look back and relive them for years to come.
One of the more unique things about me, I’ve been told, is my innate ability to connect with clients who are truly excited for me to be part of their story. From their engagement session through the birth of their first child, or working with a country music artist from their first time at Country Radio Seminar through their opening performance for Lady Antebellum, nothing makes my job more rewarding than being part of that journey.

I am so fortunate to be part of this amazing team! I joined Sara Kauss Photography all the way back in 2011, knowing immediately that this company was truly unique and special. With a professional background in graphic and web design, I have always had a passion for imagery and the creative outlet photography offers. My favorite images are those artistic shots with unexpected angles, capturing spontaneous emotion, telling a meaningful story, and creating an image that otherwise would not exist… and I’m always looking for great sun flare to add some sparkle!
As Associate Photographer and Production Manager, I am able to express my creativity through photography, design, managing our team website, and post-production editing in order to produce timeless images and products for our clients. I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings and events all over Florida for many years now, and meeting incredible people along the way. I truly feel like a friend behind the lens, having connected with our clients and having the honor of celebrating with them!
When not behind the lens, you can usually find me designing websites. I enjoy riding my dirtbike, spending time with my husband, Josh, and our family and friends. I will always be a New Yorker, although I have been blessed to live here in the sunshine state for over ten years. I love country music, and anything pink or sparkly, which are obsessions that Sara and I share! I am a vegetarian, animals are a huge part of my life, and my two playful dogs, Sadie and Molly, always keep me on my toes!

A bride once said to me, “The photos make the day live on forever.” That stuck with me, and really sums up what I love about photography and the emotion of weddings! As an Associate Photographer, I am fortunate to be able to connect with clients through the booking process as well as meet them on their wedding day.
Before I joined this team of strong, supportive women, I had always had a passion for photography. Walking into events as a guest, I would instinctually think, “This would make a great photo!” After becoming good friends with Alyssa, my fellow New Yorker, I finally took the plunge to buy myself a real camera. Soon after, I was introduced to Sara and have never looked back!
My professional background as a teacher (and longtime student myself to earn a Master’s Degree) gave me the organizational skills needed to run the business side of things. Now as a full time Associate Photographer, my passion for technology and capturing emotion take center stage.
When not capturing beautiful brides and couples, you can find me posing my dogs, Cooper and Nutter, for holiday photo shoots, or cuddling with my velvet cat, Lola. You can win my heart through pandas, pickles, and pizza! I just love being part of this magical world of pink and sparkles that we call the Sara Kauss Photography team.

Aloha! My name is Sheri Lynn, and I wear a few hats here at SKP; Studio Manager, Associate Photographer, and Videographer. I am fortunate to play a role in many aspects of your journey with us; from your first “hello” email through your unforgettable wedding day, to all your future milestones.
I’ve been photographing weddings and families in Hawai’i since 2006 and joined the SKP team when my family and I traded in our island living for a piece of mainland paradise. Upon arriving in South Florida, I first met with Sara at a coffee shop in Jupiter, where we quickly learned that we grew up just TEN miles from each other in rural Minnesota! Of course as we got to know each other, our stories kept intertwining with major commonalities, and a friendship blossomed. It’s the story of relationships like this that get me excited for each new client we meet. Learning where you came from, how you met, meeting your family and VIP’s on your wedding day and enjoying those moments beside you is such a privilege.
I have an amazing husband, Phil, who I met on the Big Island in Kona; we became friends, worked on a boat together, fell in love, went on a date, got engaged, became husband + wife, his dogs became our dogs, we had a kid, then another…and another! Our life together is awesome. Parenting is hard sometimes but we have three great kids; Walter is 6 years, Adeline is 4 years, and baby Sadie is now 3! We love the ocean, camping, laughing, Notre Dame football, the Canoe House restaurant, boating, a good IPA, teaching our kids how to play baseball, and Chicago-style deep dish pizza.
