When sweet Sage’s mom asked if we could do a photoshoot with balloons, a basket and her almost one-year-old baby girl, I was so excited to see her Pinterest board! “Our baseball focused family is doing a first birthday party, so we can focus on something beyond baseball. ” Sage’s dad is a professional Marlin’s baseball player, so needless to say that is a big part of their lives. “Let’s do something girly but fun!”

We made such happy photographs at Lucky Old Sun Ranch with sweet baby Sage.  My husband laughed at me when the night before our shoot, a woman with a truck load of balloons showed up on our property and asked “Where do you want these?” Zak said, “Of course you would have a balloon delivery in the middle of the afternoon.”

We photographed at sunrise, my absolute favorite time to shoot. The lighting was beautiful, baby Sage was adorable, and we had such a great time. Sage took a few of her first steps towards my sweet golden retriever and Sunshine was ecstatic for the little person who had come to visit her.
