Kari and Bryan’s Marriott Singer Island Wedding

Kari and Bryan’s Marriott Singer Island wedding was the most beautiful celebration done in true Florida style, from their barefoot-in-the-sand oceanfront ceremony to their dancing and dinner reception under the stars! This was a true destination wedding for Kari and Bryan’s midwest family and friends, and a tropical vacation is best celebrated with piña coladas in hand.  Kari, a Yoga instructor, and Bryan, a U.S. Marine, live in Chicago where we first met them for their big city engagement session. We captured some epic sunset photos in their hometown, and it was so fun to recreate that magic here in the Florida golden hour!

Kari spent the morning of their Marriott Palm Beach Singer Island wedding day getting ready with her girls in their resort hotel room, with the sweetest flower girl who wanted to be a photography assistant! One of our favorite things to do is a “first look” with the bride’s father, and Kari’s dad was so emotional to see her that he was tearing up behind his sun glasses. The entire day was focused around family and filled with so much love, especially the emotional ceremony which included Bryan’s sweet daughter and lots of tears.

Kari was glowing and happy the entire day, so excited to be on the beach with her new husband and family. They shared a first dance on the most perfectly clear night, on a dance floor strung with bistro lights and a million stars! Amazing surf ‘n turf dinner was served underneath a beautiful white tent near the ocean.

The highlight of the evening was Kari’s amazing vision to end the night with a big bonfire on the beach. There were two huge circles of friends and family, drinking cocktails and making s’mores. The perfect end for a perfect day was when everyone broke out into song around the fire, celebrating the newlyweds!

Weddings are a time for beautiful and sparkling details, but it is really about the people and the love in the air that make a perfect day. We are so thankful to have been part of this sweet family’s Marriott Singer Island wedding celebration! Thank you, Kari and Bryan, and cheers to many more Florida vacations together as husband and wife!
