14 Jun Robin Meade | Count On Me | CD Release Party in NYC
What an event! When HLN’s Robin Meade emailed and asked that I attend her album debut party for ‘Count On Me’ in New York City’s Cutting Room, I was honored. Robin Meade is probably the funniest woman on the planet, adorable as anything and always stunning!
The Cutting Room party was full of “newsies” like Matt Lauer, Gayle King and lots of others from Robin’s CNN world. It was a fun mix to see those types mixing with some of my Nashville favorites, people like Pete Fisher, from The Grand Ole Opry and Kenzie Wetz, ABC Nashville’s fiddle player. Robin Meade’s concert was simply amazing, rocking the Cutting Room stage with legends in music. Gary Burg, Jim Brickman and Mark Hudson played and sang on stage with Robin, also producer and co-writer on most of Robin’s album, the gorgeous red-head and incredibly talented, Victoria Shaw.
Although I was a guest, I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos of the event. Thank you Robin for the invitation, it was a party I’ll never forget! (One of the best parts…getting to wake up in NYC and have coffee at Stumptown Coffee Roasters of 29th in Manhattan. Yummm…. 🙂
