Tideline Resort Wedding | Caroline & Joe

Caroline and Joe’s Tideline Resort wedding was just magical! From the outdoor ceremony to oceanside portraits, it was a picture perfect day.

Our connection with Caroline and Joe began in New York during their adorable engagement session featuring our favorite subject, their puppy Tucker! Tucker fell in love with Joe at first sight, and Caroline knew it was going to be forever once her sometimes shy doggy best friend approved.

Caroline and Joe met at an NYC bar and had an instant connection. Drinks turned into dinner, and they were inseparable after that, and the rest as they say is history. Caroline says, “We waited a long time to find one another, but was all worth it.” The couple moved to Long Island City a year and a half after their first date, and 6 months later Joe proposed!

Joe surprised Caroline with a birthday trip to Nashville where he planned to propose, but that plan was ruined when a huge snowstorm hit NYC and cancelled all flights.  Joe ended up proposing in 3 feet of snow in the middle of the street on walk home from the only restaurant that was open in their neighborhood. Caroline loves the snow and could not imagine a more romantic setting!

Tideline Resort Wedding in Palm Beach

Caroline says that they had the wedding of their dreams here in Palm Beach! Caroline’s dad and step mom spend the winters in the area and knew her and Joe would love venue’s boutique feel and gorgeous setting for their Tideline Resort wedding.

90 of their closest friends and family travelled from all over the country to celebrate their incredible weekend. Time spent at the pool and beach in addition to the actual wedding created the most fun three days of Joe and Caroline’s life. Family and friends got to know each other so well, and created such memorable moments for them!

Caroline found that destination weddings are trickier to plan as there is very little “face time” with vendors beforehand, but she connected with the most incredible team based on internet reviews, lots of phone calls, hundreds of emails and a couple of trips down to Florida.  Caroline has admitted she misses talking to some of the vendors on a weekly basis! (We miss it too, Caroline!)

“We never imagined that our day would be as perfect as it was. We kept turning to each other throughout the night to be like, ‘This is our wedding?!’ We are still feeling the love from that day and will carry it with us forever.
